The Galaxy Player 70 gets a lift up; Samsung recently announced the new Samsung Galaxy Player 70 plus with dual core processor clocked at 1 GHz and a 5 inch full touchscreen display with multi touch support. The 70 plus is an enhanced version of its predecessor the Galaxy Player 70 a.k.a. Galaxy Player 5.0.

The Samsung Galaxy Player 70 plus sports a 5 inch capacitive display screen with 800 by 480 pixels resolution. The rear camera resolution has been enhanced to 5 MP. There is a front facing VGA camera for video calling / chatting.

The Samsung Player 70 plus comes with improved specifications that enhances the processing speed with boosted primary camera resolution. This handset has been launched in South Korea and comes loaded with regional apps.

Other features are Gingerbread OS, Wi-Fi, Gyro Sensor, media support, enhanced 70 Plus Galaxy Players and external memory slot. The 70 plus player comes with a 2500 mAh battery that gives a decent talktime and standby time. This handset houses 16 GB or 32 GB internal storage depending on which the price changes.

This product is currently available in South Korea only, for a price of 399,000 won for 16 GB and 469,000 won for 32 GB version. Samsung has not yet revealed if this product will be launched in other parts of the World. Stay tuned for more updates.
