Samsung today launched the Galaxy Note7 in India with an attractive price tag (tough still in the premium category) – Rs. 59,990. Samsung Galaxy Note7 is powered by Exynos 8 octa core processor and packed with 4GB RAM.
Samsung Galaxy Note7 features and specifications
The Samsung Galaxy Note7 houses Samsung Exynos 8890 2.3GHz octa core processor – this is 14nm, 64 bit. Android Marshmallow version 6.0.1 runs out of the box with 4GB RAM LPDDR4 and 64GB UFS 2.0 storage. The micro SD card of up to 256GB can be used – this is dual SIM (users can use 2x nano SIM cards or a nano SIM + micro SD card).
Samsung Galaxy Note7 sports a super AMOLED dual edge curved screen of size 5.7 inches supporting 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. The screen comes with corning gorilla glass 5 protection. Handset weight is 169 grams and thickness is 7.9mm.
Note7 is IP68 certified (dust and water resistant) and also includes a 12MP AF dual pixel PDAF camera (as seen on the Galaxy S7 handset) with LED flash support. Front camera is 5MP shooter. Both front as well as rear camera are using f/1.7 aperture.
And yes like the other Note series the Samsung Galaxy Note7 too comes with improved S-Pen. Other features are 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, NFC, USB Type C port, IRIS scanner, Finger print scanner, heart rate sensor, Barometer and WiFi.
A 3500 mAh battery powers up this smartphone – fast charging both wired and wireless are supported.
