Samsung Galaxy Note7 will be officially launched today in New York and the same will be officially launched in India on 11th of this month. Samsung has sent out invites for the 11th August launch event scheduled in New Delhi.

Samsung Galaxy Note7 is powered by Exynos 8890 octa core processor clocked at 2.3GHz. Screen is 5.7 inches with super AMOLED screen and yes it’s a dual curved screen as seen on the Galaxy S7 Edge.

Samsung Galaxy Note7 comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM + micro SD support of up to 256GB. Android marshmallow 6.0.1 runs out of the box. There is a 12MP camera on the back with flash support and 5MP front camera.

Note7 is IP68 certified. Weight is 169 grams and thickness is 7.9mm. Key features are 4G LTE (VoLTE), 3G, 2G, GPS, WiFi, Iris scanner, Barometer, Finger Print sensor, BT 4.2, USB Type C port, GPS and NFC.

Samsung Galaxy Note7 be released from August 19.

Samsung also announced Samsung Gear VR headset an improved version that comes with USB Type C port and touchpad – priced at $99.
