Samsung Mobiles has announced their next handset in the note series, it is the Samsung Galaxy Note 5. The key highlight about this smartphone is that is powered by Exynos 7420 octa core processor and comes with 4GB RAM.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 like the other Galaxy Note smartphones comes with the S-Pen that has got even better. There is a new feature incorporated that will allow users to start using the S-Pen from an idle state. Samsung has used some of the design feature as seen on the Galaxy S6.

The Note 5 houses the Samsung Exynos 7420 octa core chipset (1.5GHz quad –cortex A53 + 2.1GHz quad Cortex A57) coupled with Mali T760MP8 GPU. This handset sports a 5.7 inch Super AMOLED screen with Quad HD – 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution.

Android 5.1.1 runs out of the box with 4GB RAM and optional 32GB / 64GB storage. There is no micro SD card slot. In terms of camera there is a 16MP shooter on the rear with LED flash support and a 5MP front facing camera. 4K video recording and playback is supported.

Other features are 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, heart rate sensor, fingerprint scanner and NFC. Galaxy Note 5 houses a 3000 mAh Li-Po battery with fast charging capabilities.
