Samsung has unveiled the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 along with Note 10.1 and Galaxy Gear smart watch at the IFA (trade event in Berlin). The Galaxy Note 3 sports a 5.7 inch Super AMOLED screen with full HD resolution with a weight of about 168 grams.
Just like the Galaxy Note 2 and the Galaxy Note the Note 3 will also come with the S-Pen, an all new S-Pen with improved multi tasking capabilities. The S-Pen according to Samsung had been improved significantly – Samsung calls it a key to the device.
S-Pen on the Note 3 can be used to work with air commands for example copying text from a web page without having to use the other menu options. Multi Window mode is supported plus users can now open two windows for the same app (multiple instances).
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will come loaded with 3GB RAM and 32/64GB internal storage plus with a micro SD slot. There will be a 13MP rear auto focus camera with LED flash and a front camera too. The battery will be of a 3200 mAh capacity.
Samsung will release two different versions one with 4G and the other with 3G support. The 4G version will be powered by Qualcomm S800 quad core processor clocked at 2.3GHz and the 3G version will be powered by OCTA-CORE Exynos processor clocked at 1.9GHz. Most likely the 3G version will first hit the Indian stores. No words about the price in India – stay tuned for more.
