Samsung has launched another phablet in the Mega series, the Samsung Galaxy Mega Plus that supports a 5.8 inch screen with qHD resolution and comes powered by 1.2GHz quad core processor.
The Samsung Galaxy Mega Plus model No. I9152P is currently listed on the official Samsung Chinese website. The handset weight is 183.5 grams and thickness is 8.99mm. It is powered by quad core processor clocked at 1.2GHz (Chipset Unknown).
Mega Plus sails on Android OS, the version is not mentioned – probably it could be the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Screen is TFT 5.8 inches with 960×540 pixels resolution. This handset comes with 8MP primary AF camera and 1.9MP secondary camera.
Other features are 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS with GLONASS and Bluetooth. RAM, internal storage is not yet disclosed. There is micro SD card slot to add additional storage space.
The removable battery is of 2600 mAh capacity. Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 and Mega 6.3 is already available in the Indian Market. We do not know as to when this handset will hit the Indian markets and its price tag. Stay tuned for more.
