Samsung launched the Galaxy J5 and the Galaxy J7 handsets in India. These smartphones are 4G enabled and targeted towards gaming users. The J5 and the J7 are already listed on Flipkart and can be pre-booked for ₹ 11,999 (J5) and ₹ 14,999 (J7).

I got the Demo unit and I have created a video to give you brief idea about the handset. I will come up with the full review once I get the Retail unit (Box Pack). The first impression video will answer some key question asked by many users.

Yes the handset does support 4G, I was able to use the Airtel 4G (2300 Band) in Mumbai. Both J5 and J7 comes with super AMOLED screen. J5 is 5 inches 720p and J7 is 5.5 inches 720p. The handsets are also using removable battery.

J5 is using Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 1.2GHz quad core chipset (64 bit – cortex A53) with Adreno 306 GPU. J7 is using Samsung Exynos 7580 1.5GHz 64 bit Cortex A53 octa core processor with Mali T720 GPU.
