Samsung Mobiles has announced the Galaxy J5 2016 and the Galaxy J7 2016 in China. These smartphones (upgraded version of Galaxy J5 and the Galaxy J7) are already listed on the Samsung China Website, without the price tag.
Samsung Galaxy J5 2016 is powered by 1.2GHz quad core processor and it sports a 5.2 inch super AMOELD screen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. This dual SIM smartphone with 4G LTE support (+ VoLTE enabled) comes with 2GB on-board RAM and 16GB of internal storage space. There is micro SD card support.
The Galaxy J5 also comes with a 13MP primary camera with a f/1.9 aperture + flash and front facing camera of 5MP resolution also using f/1.9 aperture with front LED flash. Other features are 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth.

Samsung Galaxy J7 2016 is powered by 1.6GHz Octa Core processor and it sports a 5.5 inch super AMOLED screen supporting 1920 x 1080 pixels (FHD) resolution. Galaxy J7 2016 is packed with 3GB on board RAM, 16GB of internal storage and there is micro SD card support to add external storage.
Galaxy J7 2016 includes a 13MP primary camera with f/1.9 aperture with LED flash support and front camera of 5MP with f/1.9 aperture + front flash. Other features are dual SIM, 4G LTE with VoLTE support, 3G, 2G, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth and NFC. Samsung Galaxy J7 2016 gets power from a 3300 mAh battery.
There is no word as to when these handsets will be rolled out globally and specially in India, but the good news is that, recently Samsung has been decently pricing their products.
