A new member in the Grand family the Samsung Galaxy Grand Z got listed on themobilestore for a price tag of Rs. 18,499. This is a dual SIM, dual core smartphone running android 4.1. Interestingly Samsung has not yet listed the Grand Z on their official Samsung estore.

The Galaxy Grand Z sports a 5 inch screen with WVGA resolution (800 x 480 pixels) with multi touch support. It runs on on an outdated Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS with TouchWiz 4.0 UI. This dual SIM handset is powered by 1.2GHz dual core processor (chipset unknown). As far a memory and storage is concerned there is on board 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage along with 64GB external card support.

The handset weight is 161 grams with battery and thickness is 9.6mm. The Grand Z is equipped with a 2 MP camera on the front and an 8 MP camera on the rear with LED flash support. The rear camera can record full HD videos.

Key features are 3G (21Mbps), 2G (EDGE/ GPRS),Wi-Fi (b/g/n), micro USB, GPS with GLONASS, 3.5mm audio Jack and Bluetooth 4.0. There are accelerometer, gyro, proximity and magnetic sensors.

Samsung Galaxy Grand Z dual core, dual SIM smartphone

Samsung Galaxy Grand Z houses a 2100 mAh removable Li-ion battery with up to 10 hours talk time on 3G networks. The handset is listed online and currently available for Rs. 18,499. The specs are similar to as seen on the Galaxy Grand, so is this a new handset or just a typo error?.
