Samsung Galaxy Grand Max launched in Korea

The Galaxy Grand Max goes official. It is listed and available on the Samsung’s official Korean store for SKW 370,000 approx Rs. 22K. This handset supports dual SIM and comes powered by quad core processor.

The Samsung Galaxy Grand Max supports dual SIM (4G), weighs about 160 grams and is 7.9mm thick. This handset runs Android Kitkat and is powered by 1.2GHz quad core processor (probably Qualcomm snapdragon 410). There is 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB storage. The micro SD card slot can further add up to 64GB external storage.

The Galaxy Grand Max sports a TFT screen of size 5.2 inches with 16M colour and supporting resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. There is a 5MP CMOS camera on the front and a 13 megapixel CMOS auto focus camera with flash on the rear. FHD videos can be recording at 30fps.

As far as the sensors are concerned it comes loaded with accelerometer, magnetic, light and proximity. Key features are 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. There is no NFC support. Samsung Galaxy Grand Max gets power from a standard 2500 mAh battery, with a talk time of up to 11 hours on 4G LTE networks.

There is no info as to when / if the Grand Max will be made available in India. You may be aware that Samsung had already launched 4 new handsets in India a few days back for price range between 19 to 25K.
