Samsung has launched the Galaxy Core Prime 4G a 1.2GHz quad core powered smartphone sporting a 4.5 inch screen. This handset supports 4G and is priced at Rs. 9,999 with 3 months hungama + 3 months Vuclip prime offer and 4G free data access from Airtel (up to 3GB).

The Samsung Galaxy Core Prime model G360F houses a 1.2GHz quad core processor (chipset unknown). It is running Android 4.4. KitKat out of the box with 1GB RAM, 8GB ROM and up to 64GB external card support via the micro SD card slot.

The dual SIM Core prime 4G sports a 4.5 inch IPS PLS screen with 800 x 480 pixels (WVGA) resolution. It comes loaded with a 5MP auto focus camera on the rear with LED flash support and a 2MP fixed focus camera on the front.

Key features are 4G LTE-TDD / LTE-FDD, 3G HSDPA 21 Mbps, 2G, Wi-Fi with direct and hotspot support, Bluetooth and GPS with GLONASS. There are two sensors – accelerometer and proximity. A 2000 mAh battery powers up the handset and also comes with power efficient and ultra power saving mode.
