A Russian website recently unveiled the yet to be release Galaxy Core 2. The Samsung Galaxy Core 2 will be using the quad core processor with dual SIM support. The expected price tag is $280.
Samsung Mobiles will soon launch the Core 2. This handset is powered by 1.2GHz quad core processor (chipset unknown). It is a low cost device that will come with 4GB on board storage, 512MB RAM and a micro SD card slot.
It is a dual SIM handset with dual standby mode. The Core 2 is upgraded version of Galaxy Core and the Core plus. The capacitive TFT touch screen is 4.5 inches supporting WVGA resolution – 800 x 480 pixels.
Handset weight is about 138 grams and is 9.8mm thick. Also include is a 0.3MP front camera and a 5MP on the rear. Core 2 will sail on KitKat 4.4 with TouchWiz UI. Key features are 3G(21Mbps), Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. This handset houses a 2000 mAh battery that should gives decent usage time.
No word about the Galaxy Core 2 launch in the International markets.
