Design, Display and OS

The Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro is using combination of metal and glass. There is metal frame sandwiched between glass layers. It’s using a 2.5D curved glass on the top as well as bottom given a symmetrical look. It is not clearly mentioned if the glass comes with protection but it looks like scratch resistant to some extent (tried the pin scratch test).

Some benchmark apps will show the snapdragon 652 as snapdragon 650.

Others

Sound is loud and clear. Handset supports 4G with VoLTE – Jio SIM worked. I did not find any issues with WiFi, NFC, GPS and Bluetooth. Signal strength and quality was pretty good.

The home button on the front doubles up as finger print sensor. You need to press the button to switch on the screen and just hold to unlock when using FP security.

Key highlight on the Galaxy A9 Pro is the 5000 mAh battery with fast charging support.  Battery does an impressive job you can expect 6 to 11 hours of non-stop moderate to heavy usage.  With mixed usage you will get up to 2 days of battery life, for heavy usage up to 24 hours.
