Samsung has entered the dual SIM mobile phone market with the recent launch of the B5722, the first of its kind for Samsung. The touchscreen phone boasts of numerous impressive features and will be much appreciated by music lover and techies alike.

Weighing just 105 grams, the Samsung B5722 Duos has a 2.8 inch TFT touch screen that can display 256K colors as well as has a screen resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. It comes equipped with Samsung’s Digital Natural Sound Engine, a feature that enables users to experience high quality music playback.

The phone has an internal memory of 30 MB which can be expanded to 8GB using microSD (TransFlash) memory cards. The phone runs the TouchWiz Lite v1.0user interface and comes packaged with A2DP added Bluetooth v2.1connectivity and supports Class 10 GPRS and EDGE.

The Samsung B5722 comes with a standard Li-Ion 1200 mAh battery that offers 4 hours and 30 minutes of talk time and 400 hours of standby time. The most important feature of the B5722 phone however is that it allows users to use two GSM SIM cards and easily switch between them without having to switch off the handset and restart the phone.

Other specifications include Stereo FM radio with RDS and FM recording, support for MP3/WAV/WMA/eAAC+ as well as MP4/H.263/H.264 players and 3 MP camera with LED flash amongst other features.

The phone is being priced at Rs. 8,805 and will be available in Pink and Brown colour options.
