The Samsung C3782 is a dual SIM phone with basic features with a price well under Rs. 2,800. The main features are 3 MP camera and SNS enabled. The C3782 is a 2G phone and will soon be available in India.

This handset weighs 82 grams with 12.3 mm thickness. Users can use 2 SIM cards simultaneously with dual standby mode. The TFT display screen is 2.4 inches with resolution of 320 by 240 pixels with pixel density of 167, which is good for the price. The handset has got a unique look with alphanumeric keypad. Another unique feature is the optical trackpad that is placed in the center in between the call and cancel buttons.

The C3782 comes with internal memory of just 36 MB which is sufficient for such low end models. You can store up to 1000 contacts on the phone memory. For audio output there is a built in loud speaker and a 3.5 mm jack.

This is a 2G phone and for net connectivity you will need to rely on GPRS or the EDGE networks. SNS (Social networking sites) is enabled, for you to stay in touch with your friends on the move. Other connectivity options are Bluetooth 2.1 and microUSB 2.0. This is a budget phone and hence Wi-Fi, GPS etc are missing.

The media player supports MP4, MP3 and other commonly used file formats. I believe there is a microSD slot for adding additional storage. For entertainment there is FM radio with RDS and some pre-loaded games. You can even download games.

Even for such a low price tag Samsung managed to get a 3 MP camera on this handset. The camera supports resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels which is really good for such a price. Videos can also be recorded.

This phone comes with a 1000 mAh battery (li-ion) standby time / talktime : unknown.

Samsung C3782 (a.k.a. Samsung Evan Duos) price in India is expected to be under Rs. 2,800.

Pros: 3 MP camera, Dual SIM and trackpad.
