Micromax A350 is making a lot of buzz on the net. Rumors suggest it will be an Octa core handset. This leaked info is based on inputs from Antutu benchmarking app that had registered the name Micromax A350 along with the score of 26886.
There is no official confirmation and it would be better to wait for some more concrete evidence before we come to a conclusion. The unofficial specification are also out – it says 5 inch handset with octa core processor clocked at 1.7GHz running Jelly Bean 4.2 with 2GB Ram. In addition there is 16MP camera and FHD screen.
When you run Antutu benchmark the model number and the scores are added to the database and available for public (if the device is connected to the net), you can search for model number using the Antutu app itself. The Antutu listing actually does not really confirm anything, unless officially confirmed.
Search for Micromax A3 on Antutu and you will get the A350 listed with 26886 score and interestingly another model Micromax A300 with 14911 score. So can one predict the hardware based on the scores, well not really! If you search for Micromax A2 you will find the Micromax A250 model that we already know (the Micromax Canvas A250 turbo) it is with 8547 score which is incorrect. The 1.5GHz MT6589T powered MMX A250 got 15473. And well there is another Micromax A200 with a score of 16962.
Hence it would be wise to wait for official confirmation. Anyway it is time for Micromax to announce their octa core handsets.
Thank you all those who gave the tip.
