Ricoh India recently launched their product a 360 degree camera, it’s called the Ricoh Theta S. This device can actually capture 360 degrees stunning scenes with a single shot. The Ricoh Theta S will be available from December for ₹39,995.
The Ricoh Theta S offers rich 360 degree photo / video experience. This portable camera supports ISO range from 100 to 1600 and comes with internal storage space of 8GB (there is no external SD card support). Weight is 125 grams. There is a micro USB port (2.0) and a Micro HDMI (1.4) port.
There are twin lens that allow the camera to shoot images in 14MP resolution (360 degree mode). FHD videos (1920 x 1080p) can also be recorded at 30fps for up to 25 minutes (or less than 4GB space) continuously – in general you can record up to 65 minutes videos (MP4 format) in 1080p resolution and 175 minutes in 720p resolution.
The built-in Li-ion battery (unknown capacity) will allow you to shoot up to 260 photos (Jpeg) until the next charge.
The Ricoh Theta S 360 seems impressive but way costly at ₹39,995.
