After the success of Reliance 3G tab, Reliance has now launched the first CDMA Tab for Rs. 12,999 for a limited period only. With Reliance CDMA Tab users will be able to experience performance, multitasking with CDMA technology.

In brief the CDMA Tab is powered by 800 MHz CPU and comes with 7 inch capacitive touchscreen with multi touch support. The Reliance CDMA Tab features are a bit different from the Reliance 3G Tab let’s have a look at it.

Processor and OS: Just like the 3G tab the CDMA tab is also powered by an 800 MHz processor.  The CDMA tablet also runs on the gingerbread OS a.k.a. Android 2.3.

Display Screen and Weight: Both the Reliance tablets sports a 7 inch TFT LCD WVGA screen supporting resolution of 800 by 480 pixels but when it comes to the weight the CDMA tab is 8 grams heavier at 397 grams.

Camera: The CDMA tab comes with a front facing VGA camera that can be used for voice calls / chatting and a rear 2 MP camera for normal photography. The 2 MP camera is good for sharing photos on Facebook and other social networks.

Other features: Both tablets come with 4 GB free microSD card and you can use up to 32 GB storage cards.  The default media player that comes loaded with the android 2.3 OS supports multiple audio, video and image formats. You can make or receive calls on the CDMA tab just like on the 3G tab. Other features are speed dial to Bluetooth, 3 way calling, mute in call, Wi-Fi hotspot, GPS, built in FM radio, Mobile TV, built in speaker and video recorder.

Battery: Unlike the 3G tab the CDMA tab comes with a more powerful battery (4000 mAh Li-ion) 600 mAh more than the 3G tab, however the battery standby and talktime is less as compared with the 3G tab. Standby time on CDMA tab is up to 150 hours and talktime is up to 5 hours.
