Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Note 5 in India, this in fact is the Redmi 5 Plus that was launched in China. It’s the same handset, same specifications. Key highlight is the 5.99 inch 18:9 display with FHD+ resolution and 4000 mAh battery, is this worth the price? find out.

I had already done the review of Redmi 5 Plus, you can check that here. Since this is the same phone the results will be same, most of what you will see here is copy and paste from the Redmi 5 Plus review, as far as the images are concerned I have shot that again with the Redmi Note 5.

Redmi Note 5 is Snapdragon 625 octa core powered and packed with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM. There will be two variants, one with 3GB /32GB RAM / ROM and the other with 4GB / 64GB RAM/ROM.

This is upgraded version of Redmi Note 4, also if you note the Note 5 is using the same hardware as on the Note 4. This you can say is a replacement of the Redmi Note 4. Performance is great as seen on the Note 4, plus like on the Note 4 the Redmi Note 5 also delivers 2 days of battery life.
