At the MWC Shanghai 2017 event last week Qualcomm announced the Readboy W8 4G kids smartwatch and 360 Kids Watch 6S in China. Now both these wearable devices are using the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 platform.
360 Kids Watch 6S
Key features are 360 Kids Watch 6S is it supports 4G Multi Mode that works with all three 4G carriers in China – China Telecom, China Unicom and China Mobile. The watch is IP65 certified, comes with 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage. Touch screen is 1.3 inches TFT LCD supporting 240 x 240 pixels resolution.
There is a 2MP camera with video sharing and remote video monitoring support. Other features are High Fidelity voice communication, G-Sensor, vibration motor and the watch straps can be replaced. This 360 Kids Watch 6S will be available in July 2017 in China.
Readboy W8
The Readboy W8 smartwatch features a 1.39 inch AMOLED screen, also supports 4G Multi Mode. It comes with 2MP camera and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 chipset packed with 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage.
The Readboy W8 will be available in China in September 2017.
