Qualcomm has unveiled two new chipsets in the Snapdragon 600 series. Presenting the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660. Both chipsets are using 14nm process and supports VoLTE + VoWiFi.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 630
This is octa core 64 bit cortex A53 clocked at 2.2GHz x 4 + 1.8GHz x 4, using 14nm process. SD 630 supports up to 8GB memory (RAM), USB 3.1 and is coupled with Adreno 508 GPU. 630 also supports up to 24MP camera and 13MP dual cameras, as for the screen resolution it can go up to 1920 x 1200 pixels.
Other features of Snapdragon 630 is 4K recording at 30fps, dual band WiFi, Bluetooth 5 and quick charge 4.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 660
This 2.2GHz Kryo 260 x 4 + 1.8GHz Kryo 260 x 4 a 14nm FinFET process coupled with Adreno 512 GPU. This chipset supports up to 8GB RAM, USB 3.1, quad HD resolution (2560 x 1600), 4K recording capabilities at 30fps, dual band WiFi, Bluetooth 5 and quick charge 4. This SD 660 supports 24MP single camera and up to 16MP dual cameras.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 will be made available next month and Snapdragon 660 this quarter.
