When you hear the word ‘Polaroid’ the first thing that comes in your mind is the cameras, well now the company has entered the Mobile business and at the CES 2016 event, they unveiled two handsets the Polaroid Power for $249.99 and the Polaroid Snap that starts from $129.99.
Polaroid Power is 64 bit octa core powered smartphone running Lollipop over a 6 inch screen with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. Power is packed with 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM and 32GB external micro SD card support.
There is a 13MP AF camera with LED flash on the rear and an 8MP camera on the front. Key features are 4G LTE, 3G, GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0. A 3000 mAh battery powers up this handset. Polaroid Power is priced at $249.99 (approx ₹17K).
Polaroid Snap is quad core powered running Lollipop with 1GB RAM/ 8GB ROM or 2GB RAM/16GB ROM and 32GB micro SD card support. This smartphone sports a 5 inch / 5.5 inch screen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. Note the Snap comes in two screen sizes with different RAM / ROM.
There is 13MP primary camera with flash and front camera is a 5MP that also come with front flash. Key features are 4G, 3G, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth 4.0. Battery mAh not known.
Polaroid Snap with 5 inch screen / 1GB RAM / 8GB ROM is priced at $129.99 and the 5.5 inch screen / 2GB RAM/16GB ROM is priced at $179.99.
Both these handsets will get Marshmallow update.
