The T40 from Panasonic comes loaded with similar specifications as found on the android one smartphones. It is powered by 1.3GHz quad core processor and runs Kitkat. The handset will be available soon for Rs. 5,999.
Android 4.4.2 runs the show with quad core processor, most likely the MediaTek with Mali 400 GPU. The handset weight is 117 grams and is about 9mm thick. Panasonic T40 sports a 4 inches IPS screen with WVGA – 800 x 480 pixels resolution.
It is a dual SIM handset with 3G+2G support – only one SIM supports 3G. T40 comes packed with 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal storage and 32GB micro SD card support. There are 3 common sensors accelerometer, light and proximity.
A 5 megapixel auto focus camera is placed on the rear along with LED support for low light photography and a 2MP is placed on the front. Additional features are 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth.
The Panasonic T40 with a 1500 mAh removable battery is listed on Flipkart with a coming soon status and without the price tag.
