Panasonic will be officially launching the Eluga series tomorrow, however it already found its way on the ebay website for Rs. 17,490. This dual SIM handset runs Kitkat and comes powered by quad core snapdragon 400 processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage.

The Panasonic Eluga U got a unibody design with textured crystal glass back panel. It houses the 1.2GHz qualcomm snapdragon 400 quad core processor and runs KitKat 4.4.2 over a 5 inch OGS IPS screen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. The screen is with corning gorilla glass 3 protection.

There is 2GB on-board RAM along with 16GB storage and micro SD slot that supports cards of up to 32GB. Handset weight is 141 grams and is about 7.9mm thick. The Eluga U comes with 13MP rear AF camera with LED flash for low light photography and a front camera of 2MP resolution. Rear camera can shoot videos in 1080p at 30fps.

This quad band handset supports 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi (Wi-Fi direct), GPS and Bluetooth. There are accelerometer, light, magnetic and proximity sensors. This Eluga model comes with 2500 mAh Li-ion battery.

The handset is now available on ebay.in for Rs. 17,490 and will also be made available in local stores for approx Rs. 18,590.
