Beta testers finally will get to experience the OxygenOS 4.0 that has been rolled out for OnepPlus 3 handset. This Android 7.0 Nougat update called Open Beta 8, especially for beta testers will come loaded with many new features, new icon for status bar and more.

This update will add new notification UI, new settings menu design, custom DPI support, users will be able to directly reply to notifications and Multi window view feature has also been incorporated. In addition shelf customization has been improved, a new status bar icon option has been added and there is also quick launch for 3rd party apps.
As mentioned this update is not for general users only for beta users – also this not an OTA rolled out, in fact beta users will need to manually download the OxygenOS Open Beta 8 build and install it manually. This is not a stable version and there are some known issues with Android Pay, performance/stability.
