Oppo mobiles have launched two new smartphones in India. The Oppo R7 Lite for ₹17,990 and the Oppo R7 plus for ₹29,990. Both these handsets are powered by qualcomm snapdragon 615 octa core processor.

The Oppo R7 Lite sports a 5 inch 2.5D AMOLED screen supporting 720p resolution and protected with corning gorilla glass 3. It houses the 1.3GHz snapdragon 615 octa core processor with Adreno 405 GPU. The R7 Lite is running Colour OS 2.1 based on Android Lollipop 5.1 with 2GB RAM, 16GB storage and external micro SD card support.

This is a dual SIM handset (Hybrid SIM slot) with 4G support. Also included is a 13MP AF camera using  SONY sensor and an 8MP camera on the front. Additional features are 4G, 3G, GPS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. R7 Lite gets power from a 2320 mAh battery.

Oppo R7 Lite and Oppo R7 Plus launched in India

The Oppo R7 Plus is also powered by snapdragon 615 octa core processor but clocked at 1.5GHz with Adreno 405 GPU. This dual SIM (hybrid SIM slot) handset sports a 6 inch screen with FHD resolution also protected with corning gorilla glass 3.

Android 5.1 (Colour OS 2.1) runs the show with 3GB RAM, 16GB storage and micro SD card support. There is 13MP primary camera using SONY IMX278 sensor and there is a front camera of 8MP resolution. Key features are fingerprint scanner, 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The R7 Plus is using a 4100 mAh battery.

These handsets will be available soon for the R7 Plus for ₹29,990 and the R7 Lite for ₹17,990.
