Oppo Mobiles has launched the Oppo R7 for RMB 2499 (approx Rs. 25,700) and Oppo R7 Plus for RMB 2999 (approx Rs. 30,800) in China. Both these handsets are powered by 64 bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa core processor and running Colour OS 2.1 out of the box.

This handset as mentioned is powered by 1.5GHz snapdragon 615 octa core (MSM8939) processor. It is running Colour OS 2.1 based on Android lollipop 5.0. R7 sports a 5 inch AMOLED screen with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It is loaded with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of storage along with micro SD support of up to 128GB.

The rear camera is of 13MP resolution (f/2.2) with LED flash support and front camera is an 8MP f/2.4). This is a dual SIM handset with 4G LTE support. R7 is 6.3mm thick and weight with battery is 147 grams. Key features are 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth and GPS. A 2320 mAh battery powers up the handset with flash charging capabilities – can charge handset up to 75% in about 30 minutes.

Oppo R7 launched

Oppo R7 Plus
This is also a dual SIM handset with 4G LTE support. It weighs about 203 grams with battery and thickness is 7.85mm. The R7 plus is use the same chipset used on the R7, it however comes with a 6 inch AMOLED screen with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. There is 3GB RAM, 32GB storage and 128GB external card support.

Oppo R7 plus launched

A 13MP camera (SONY IMX278) is packed on the rear with flash and an 8MP on the front. Key features are 4G, 3G, 2G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC and GPS. In addition this handset also includes a finger print scanner. R7 Plus gets power from 4100 mAh battery with flash charging capabilities.

Oppo R7 is priced at RMB 2499 (Rs. 25,700) and Oppo R7 Plus for RMB 2999 (Rs. 30,800). No word about its global launch.
