Oppo Mobiles have launched another premium handset the Oppo R1 in the Indian markets. This 1.3GHz quad core powered handset is 7.1mm thick and comes with 8MP night shot camera with pure image technology for better output in low light conditions.

The Oppo R1 weight with battery is just 141 grams and is  pretty slim at 7.1mm. This a dual SIM handset with 3G support. It runs on Color OS based on Android 4.2 with 1GB on-board RAM and 16GB storage. There is no external micro SD card support.

The R1 houses a 1.3GHz quad core processor with Mali 400 GPU. It is using the MediaTek MediaTek MT6582 chipset.  The R1 sports a 5 inch IPS touchscreen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. The screen also comes with 0.55mm corning gorilla glass 3 protection.

The rear camera is of 8MP resolution with BSI CMOS sensor and using the Pure Image technology for better output for both day as well as night shots. There is a 5MP image pro front camera for the perfect selfies. Camera features are F2.0 aperture, 80 wide angle, Night mode for better low light shots and burst shot to name a few. There are blue glass filter that cut off infrared lights, removes red-eye and ghost lights – to give you that amazing night shot.

Handset also includes light, accelerometer, magnetic and proximity sensors. Other features are 3G, 2G, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi with hotspot / direct and GPS with A-GPS support. The Oppo R1 comes with 2410 mAh battery and will be available soon for a price tag of Rs. 26,990.
