Apart from the flashship model the Oppo N1, Oppo mobiles will also launch other models in India. These include the Oppo R1, Oppo Find 5 Mini and the Oppo Neo. These handsets will be priced lower than at what the N1 is selling for.

The Oppo Neo is priced at Rs. 11,990. This is a quad core handset using the same chipset as seen on the Gionee Pioneer P3, Micromax A114 and many other handsets. The Neo sports a 4.5 inch screen with FWVGA resolution. It will come with a 5MP AF camera on the rear.

The high sensitivity touch works with any type of gloves, all that the user need to do is turn on the gloves mode. In fact the touch as (claimed by Oppo) is so sensitive (in Gloves mode) that users can even use their nail. The features look good, but we will need a confirmation.

When it comes to the hardware you will find it almost similar to the other 1.3GHz quad core handsets. But there are some features that make the Oppo Neo unique. There is the off screen gesture option – users can draw a circle when the screen is off to open the camera, or double tap to wake up the handset.
