Oppo had announced the N1 Mini in May 2014 and now they are all set to launch this product in the Indian markets. As per their latest tweet the revolutionary N1 Mini with 24MP ultra HD camera will be made available in India, pretty soon.
Tagged as Mini in size and max on fun the Oppo N1 Mini is a mini version of their flash ship model the Oppo N1. This is a single SIM handset that actually comes with a 13MP rotating camera (single) but can shoot 24MP images in Ultra HD mode.
On the hardware front the N1 Mini is loaded with Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad core processor clocked at 1.6GHz with Adreno 305 GPU. It runs Android 4.3 with Custom UI with 2GB RAM and 16GB on-board storage (I think it is time they should update it to KitKat). There is no micro SD card support.
N1 Mini is 9.2mm thick and weight is about 150 grams with battery. It will be available in 3 colours (yellow, white and Blue). The JDI touch screen is 5 inches supporting 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) resolution.
There is 13MP rear camera using the Sony IMX214 sensors. It is with a rotating module with LED flash support. This camera can shoot 1080p videos at 30fps. Key features are 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth 4.
This Mini version of N1 comes with a 2140 mAh battery. The Oppo N1 Mini price in India could be under Rs. 30,000. The China price was approx Rs. 25K. Let’s see what they price it at, cause the Xiaomi Mi3 is still leading (minus the 4G) when it comes to price and hardware.
