The Oppo Joy a dual core handset with an affordable price tag of $138 has been launched. This dual SIM handset runs on Android 4.2 (Color OS UI). It will hit the Indian markets soon, not sure when but the price will be under Rs. 10,000.

The Joy comes with a 4 inch screen supporting 800 x 480 pixels resolution, the screen also supports Gloves mode. Oppo Joy houses 1.3GHz MediaTek dual core processor with Mali 400 GPU. Android 4.2 runs the show with Color OS User Interface.

Also included is a 3MP fixed focus camera with LED flash and a 0.3MP (VGA) camera on the front. There is 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage plus 32GB micro SD card support. Key features are 3G, 2G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS.

Handset weight is just about 125 grams and thickness is 9.9mm. This dual SIM handset is now available in Indonesia. Not sure when the handset will be made available globally, but it will happen soon. Oppo mobiles have already set its base in India and have launched some models, however most of the models are not easily available in many areas across the country.

The Oppo Joy comes with a 1700 mAh battery, priced at $138 and available in White and Black color options.
