Oppo Mobiles launched a new handset in India called the Oppo F5 Youth. Key highlight about the F5 Youth is it is powered by Helio P23 processor from MediaTek and it is a selfie centric smartphone with 16MP front camera.

The company had already launched the Oppo F5 in India and this one is another variant in the F5 Family and a little cheaper. This dual SIM handset features a 6 inch screen with 2.5D curved glass protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and screen resolution is 2160 x 1080 pixels, this is FHD+ with 18:9 aspect ratio.

Inside the hood the Oppo F5 Youth is using MediaTek Helio P23 a 16nm octa core processor with Mali G71 GPU. ColorOS 3.2 over Android Nougat 7.1 runs the show with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage space. There is micro SD card support of up to 256GB.

Handset weight is 152 grams and thickness is 7.5mm. Coming to the camera the Oppo F5 Youth is packed with a 13MP camera on the rear, with f/2.2 aperture and flash support. Front facing camera is of 16MP resolution, comes with f/2.0 aperture.

Other features are 4G, VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, FM radio and Wi-Fi. There is finger print sensor and a 3200 mAh non-removable battery powers the F5 Youth.

Oppo F5 Youth looks great, premium and will be available in Gold and Black color options priced at Rs. 16,990.
