Oplus a new brand has entered the Indian markets. They launched the Oplus XonPhone 5 with 1.3GHz quad core processor running KitKat on a 5 inch HD screen. This phone carries a price tag of Rs. 7,999 and is available on the Snapdeal website.

The XonPhone 5 houses the 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6582 chipset with Mali 400 GPU. It runs on KitKat Android 4.4.2 out of the box with 1GB RAM and 16GB storage. Of the 16GB storage about 12GB is available for the users. The handset also comes with micro SD card slot to add cards of up to 32GB.

This is with dual SIM support (Micro + Normal SIM). Screen is OGS IPS 5 inches supporting 1280 x 720 pixels resolution with 5 point multi touch. There is 8MP rear AF camera with LED flash and 2MP front secondary camera. Rear 8MP can shoot 1080p videos at 30fps.

Main features are 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS with A-GPS and Bluetooth. The handset weight is 170 gram and thickness is 7.8mm. There are accelerometer, magnetic, light and proximity sensors. Oplus XonPhone 5 with a 2000 mAh battery is priced at Rs. 7,999 available exclusively on Snapdeal.com. The company claim to have 350 service centers across India with Pick and Drop facility.
