OnePlus today launched the awaited OnePlus X in India for a price tag of ₹16,999 for the Onyx version and ₹22,999 for the Ceramic version. This handset is running Lollipop, supports dual SIM and is powered by qualcomm snapdragon 801 quad core processor.

The OnePlus X is official, and it is using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad core processor clocked at 2.3GHz coupled with Adreno 330 GPU. This is the same hardware that powered the OnePlus One. Oxygen Os 2.1 (based on Lollipop 5.1.1) runs out of the box with 3GB RAM DDR3, 16GB storage and 128GB external micro SD card support. This handset comes with dual SIM slots (SIM 1 + Hybrid SIM 2) with 4G support.

OnePlus X sports a 5 inch Active Matrix OLED screen with Gorilla Glass 3 protection and supporting 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. A 13MP AF camera is packed on the rear using ISOCELL sensor and front camera is an 8MP shooter.

There are two versions with Onyx back glass that weighs 138 grams and the premium fire baked Ceramic version weighs around 160 grams. There will be limited units of Ceramic version around 10K. Key features are 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.

The X gets power from a 2525 mAh non-removable battery. OnePlus X will be available on Amazon.in for ₹16,999 (Onyx) and ₹22,999 (Ceramic) – it will be invitation based.
