OnePlus has begun rolling out OxygenOS 3.2.2 on their latest premium flagship the OnePlus 3. This is an over the air update (OTA), that has just been rolled out in phased manner. If you have not yet got any update alert, you will get it within few days / weeks.
These updates are incremental i.e. rolled out in a phased manner; the company will try to get it to every device possible as quickly as possible. OxygenOS 3.2.2 will come with some bug fixes and improvements.
This update also fixes a common issue on OnePlus 3 i.e. the finger print getting active when handset is placed in the pocket – the 3.2.2 update will disable fingerprint sensor when handset is placed in pocket.
Other features / fixes that will be implemented when 3.2.2 update is installed are – improved notification management, fixed slider / silent mode issue, added toggle for NFC from quick settings options, 4K recording video codec has been updated, noise cancellation have been improved specially when recording video. And there are other optimization and security patches.
