OnePlus launched the OnePlus 3T an upgraded version of OnePlus 3. Here is a comparison between the OnePlus 3 and the OnePlus 3T. The handset design is the same however there are some difference when it comes to the specifications.

Screen of 5.5 inch AMOLED, 1080p, 2.5D curved glass and CGG4 – display specs are the same on both the handsets. Other common features on OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T are 6GB RAM, no micro SD support, WiFi, USB Type C port, NFC, dual SIM, 4G LTE, VoLTE, Aluminum unibody, Finger Print scanner and Oxygen OS (android 6 Marshmallow). Both these handsets comes with 16MP primary camera.

The major difference is the processor – OnePlus 3 (OP3) is using Snapdragon 820 and the new OnePlus 3T (OP3T) is using Snapdragon 821. Internal storage on the OP3 is 64GB and on the OP3T it is 64GB/128GB.
Rear camera is the same a 16MP IMX 298 (SONY Sensor) with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, OIS etc. Front camera however is different – OP3 is with 8MP and OP3T is with 16MP. Handset color options are also different.
And finally the battery OP3 comes with built in 3000 mAh and the OP3T comes with built in 3400 mAh. Both handsets supports Dash Charge.
Which one to buy among OnePlus 3 and the OnePlus 3T
If you have already bought and using the OnePlus 3 stay with the same. If you are planning to buy OnePlus 3T in India, you will need to wait for official launch and OnePlus 3T price in India which will be more that the OP3.
Performance wise there will not be a major difference, the extra 400 mAh (3400 mAh battery) might give some extra battery juice. And yes a 16MP front camera is better if you love taking selfies. So considering all these you can make a decision based on your usage. For most users in India the OnePlus 3 will still be the first preference.
