OnePlus today launched the next flagship killer model the OnePlus 2 starting from $329. As expected this handset is using the qualcomm snapdragon 810 64 bit octa core processor. The 16GB storage version is priced at $329 and the 64GB storage will come for a price tag of $389.
The OnePlus 2 sports a 5.5 inch screen with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution same as seen on the OnePlus One, with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. This Smartphone houses the 810 Octa Core processor coupled with Adreno 430 GPU. It is a dual SIM handset with 4G LTE support.
Oxygen OS based on Android Lollipop 5.1 runs out of the box with optional 3GB RAM / 16GB storage or 4GB RAM / 64GB storage. There is 13MP AF camera with laser auto focus and dual LED flash support. The front facing camera is of 5MP resolution.
OnePlus 2 weight with battery is 175 grams and handset is 9.8mm thick. Key features are 4G, 3G, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi ,reversible USB Type C, fingerprint scanner and GPS. This handset gets power from a 3300 mAh battery.
The OnePlus 2 handset will be available in India (invitation based – Amazon) from 11th August for approx Rs. 22,999 (16GB) and Rs. 24,999 (64GB). Only the 64GB version will be available on 11th August, the 16GB version will be made available later on.
