After Mi3, Redmi 1S, Xiaomi may soon get the Redmi Note into the Indian markets. You can expect the Note probably within few days or weeks, it is listed on their official website. This is a dual SIM octa core powered handset with a good 3100 mAh battery for Rs. 9,999. Xiaomi might reduce the price further as they did with the 1S, fingers crossed.

An octa core for under Rs. 10,000 is definitely a very good deal and a 3100 mAh battery plus a 5.5 inch HD screen is icing on the cake. The Note is available in different colours however as seen with Redmi 1S and the Mi3, Xiaomi may keep single colour or limited options.

The Redmi Note houses the MediaTek MT6592 octa core (8 cores) 1.7GHz processor with Mali 450 MP GPU. The touch screen is 5.5 inches IPS supporting 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. There is 2GB RAM (more icing on the cake) and 8GB storage along with 32GB micro SD card support.

This dual SIM handset also comes packed with dual cameras. A 13MP auto focuses on the rear with LED flash and a 5MP on the front. FHD video recording is supported. Key features are dual mic, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. Along with the common sensors the Note also comes with magnetic and Gyro.
