Nokia unveiled the X2-05 and the C2-05 low cost handsets that will come pre-loaded with new Nokia Browser and a price tag well below Rs. 3,500. The Nokia X2-05 is a candy bar type phone while the Nokia C2-05 is slider phone.
These handsets are probably the most affordable handsets in the world with access to build in store for downloading apps and other content. Social networking apps also come pre-installed, now users will be able to update status from an unbelievably low cost phone and that too from the brand ‘Nokia’.
The New Nokia OVI Browser will come loaded on both these phones featuring Nokia’s compression technology which helps load WebPages much faster and consuming just fraction of the bandwidth thereby saving time and money. Also check out other Nokia handsets.
Nokia X2-05 features
This handset weighs just 87.8 grams with dimension 113 x 50 x 15 mm and comes with a 2.2 inch QVGA screen supporting 64K colours at 320 by 240 resolution. For storage MicroSD card up to 32GB can be used.
Twitter and Facebook apps come pre-loaded. The Nokia X2-05 is basically made for entertainment purpose. This phone can play MP4 and MP3 files. There is a built in FM radio with recording options and this handset even houses a VGA camera. Other features are USB (micro USB) and Bluetooth.
The battery life is around 25 days in standby time and you can expect about 4 hours of talktime. The Nokia X2-05 will be available in Bright Red, Black, White and Sliver colours.

Nokia C2-05 features
This is slider phone that too comes with Twitter and Facebook dedicated apps. The Nokia C2-05 comes with a VGA camera with zoom feature. It can play MP4 and MP3 files. You can extend memory up to 32GB by using the microSD card. Other features are Bluetooth, microUSB and FM radio with recorder.
The C2-05 weighs 98.5 grams with dimensions 99.43 x 47.77 x 16.28mm. The 2 inch QVGA LCD screen supports 320 x 240 pixels resolution with 65K colours. The battery life is around 20 days in standby mode and up to 4 hours in talktime.
The Nokia C2-05 will be available in many colours which will include dynamic grey and peacock blue.
