I was looking for a backup phone which had a longer battery life and supported dual SIM. The first mobile phone that came to my mind was the Nokia X1-01, I had already covered an article on it. The second phone was the Samsung Guru E1252 but finally I went for the X1-01 which had an amazing battery life of approximately 45 days.
The Nokia X1-01 box pack contains the Nokia X1-01 cell phone, battery and charger, one handset and user guide and warranty papers. The X1-01 box itself is compact. Check out the Nokia X1-01 Unboxing Video below.
Nokia X1-01 MicroSD support
The Nokia X1-01 does support microSD card up to 16GB however there is no option to load content on to the card from the phone. The phone itself cannot be connected to the PC. The only option left is to use a card reader connected to your PC and upload MP3 files. Well that is the only thing that is supported so just the music files on the microSD card. With a powerful battery you can rest assure that you will get entertained for a longer time. You can set any MP3 as ringtone.
Nokia X1-01 Features
Nokia X1-01 Dual SIM is a very basic and simple phone with 4 way navigation button. If you are storing contacts on the SIM you will need to transfer them on to the Nokia X1-01 phone book only then can you see the contact person’s name when you receive a call or when dialling.
The Nokia X1-01 comes with FM radio which can also be used as clock alarm (Wake up to the sound of Music). Many people wanted to know if the phone featured a flashlight, yes it does. You can check the video where I have demonstrated how to use it. Other quick way to activate the flashlight is to double click the top 4 way navigation button.
I bought this mobile phone for Rs. 1750 MRP is Rs. 2009. The body is full plastic and the phone is available (back Cover) in Red, White, Orange and Dark Grey colours.
