The Nokia N1 tablet that was making wave on the net, was launched in China a few days back for CNY 1599 (approx Rs. 16K). It was a Xiaomi style flash sales – 20,000 N1 tablets got sold out in just about 4 minutes.

Nokia brand is still alive and recently made headlines by announcing their N1 tablet. This tablet is powered by 64 bit Intel processor and made from one piece aluminum body. The N1 is 6.9mm thick with a weight of about 318 grams.

It houses the 2.4GHz Intel Atom Z3580 quad core processor coupled with PowerVR G6430 GPU clocked at 533MHz. There is 2GB on-board LPDDR3 RAM and 32GB (eMMC 5.0) internal storage. Touch screen is 7.9 inches with gorilla glass 3 protection and supporting resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution.

The Nokia N1 is running Android 5.0 with Nokia Z Launcher out of the box. Also included is an 8MP rear AF camera and a 5MP camera on the front. Key features are dual stereo speakers, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0. It gets power from a 5300 mAh non-removable Li-Po battery.

No word yet abut when the Nokia N1 tablet will be made available in India.
