Nokia India website now has the Lumia 530 dual SIM handset listed with a coming soon tag. This handset is powered by quad core processor and will be available in green, orange, white and grey colour options. Most likely the handset could get launched this month.
Nokia Lumia 530 weighs just about 130 grams and is 11.7mm thick. It sports a 4 inch screen with FWVGA resolution (854 x 480 pixels). Screen is LCD capacitive touch with 24 bit / 16M colour. This dual SIM handset can houses two micro SIM cards. 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS with A-GPS / GLONASS are supported. The handset is using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 1.2GHz quad core processor.
As far as the camera is concerned it does not look great. There is a single camera of 5MP resolution on the rear without flash. There is no front camera and the rear camera is fixed focus. The 5MP camera can shoot videos in FWVGA resolution at 30 fps.
Lumia 530 runs Windows Phone 8.1 over 512MB RAM and 4GB storage + micro SD 128GB support. The 1430 mAh battery gives talk time of up to 10 hours on 3G networks. The 530 went on sale in China for approx Rs. 6,000. The official price in India is not yet know but could be well under Rs. 10,000.
