At the MWC 2018 event, Nokia unveiled the Nokia 8110 feature phone. What makes this feature phone different is it comes with 2.4 inch curved screen and using the slide to answer technique as seen on the very, very old Nokia phones (if you may recall).
The design is unique and it reminds you of the older Nokia phones. Interestingly Nokia is still playing around with older sentiments and bringing in older model with a touch of the latest technology. This handset comes with 2000 mAh battery and supports 4G with VoLTE.
Nokia 8110 4G Specifications
This handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 205 dual core processor clocked at 1.1GHz, coupled with Adreno 304 GPU. This Nokia 8110 will come in single SIM / dual SIM options, powered by KaiOS.
Screen is 2.4″ with QVGA i.e. 320 x 240 pixels resolution. There is 512MB minimal RAM and 4GB of internal storage, plus micro SD card support. A rear camera is also included, of 2MP resolution with LED flash support.
Weight with 2000 mAh battery is 117 grams and other features are 4G VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth 4.1 and Wi-Fi. As mentioned a 2000 mAh battery powers this handset. Nokia 8110 4G will be available in Banana Yellow and Black color options for $98 that comes to approx Rs. 6,300.
Unique thing is you can slide the cover to answer and the process also unveils the hidden alphanumeric keypad. Excited? well this is still a feature phone.
