HMD Global announced that the Nokia 5 handset will go on sale on 15th August in India. The Nokia 5 will be available in 4 distinct color options across top mobile retail stores in the country – it’s price will be Rs. 12,499.
There is launch offers too – One from Makemytrip.com wherein customers will get Rs. 2500 off (Rs. 700 off on domestic flights and Rs. 1800 off on hotels). The other is from Vodafone wherein users will get 5GB data per month for Rs. 149 / month for 3 months.
Nokia 5 is qualcomm snapdragon 430 octa core powered @ 1.4GHz. It features a 5.2 inch screen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution, with 2.5D curved glass. Android Nougat runs the show with 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM and 128GB external micro SD support.
The rear camera is 13MP and front camera is 8MP. Both front as well as rear cameras come with f/2.0 aperture. 4G with VoLTE is supported, this handset apart from common features also comes with NFC and a 3000 mAh battery, plus a finger print sensor.
Nokia 5 price in India is Rs. 12,499 and it will be available in off-line stores only.
