Microsoft has announced the Nokia 222 a feature phone that comes internet ready, priced at $37. Now this feature phone will be available in single SIM and dual SIM variants. The 222 will be running on the Nokia Series 30+ OS.
Nokia 222 is a simple phone for making and receiving calls but it can also be used for browsing the net. This handset comes with pre-installed Opera Mini Browser for browsing your favorite site and fond more using Bing Search. The 222 is also equipped with a 2MP camera on the rear. It is a fixed focus camera. There is also built in FM radio, MP3 player for entertainment on the move.
Nokia 222 sports a 2.4 inch screen (non-touch) supporting QVGA resolution. Weight with battery is 79 grams and thickness is 12.9mm. There is micro SD slot that supports up to 32GB external cards. The 1100 mAh battery as per the company gives up to 20 hours of talk time.
The Nokia 222 with Single / Double SIM options will be available in September for $37. There is no word about the launch in India.
