Noble Skiodo 48 inch TV is available in India with MRP price of Rs. 39,999 but you can get it for under Rs. 31K on Amazon (Rs. 30,990). This is a smart TV with FHD resolution that sails on Android OS and comes with built in WiFi.

Inside the box you will get user manual, warranty card, magic remote manual, wall mount attachment, stand attachment, remote, batteries for remote, USB receiver dongle for remote keyboard and the LED TV.
Design, build and specifications
For the price tag the built quality and finishing is very good. The TV looks pretty decent and slim. It’s a smart TV running Android 4.4.2 with 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage. Weight is about 16Kg and dimensions are 63 x 108.5 x 7 (cm).
Screen is 48 inches supporting 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. Colour reproduction and viewing angles (178 degrees) are very good. Refresh rate is 60Hz and contract ratio is 200000:1. There are two built in speakers of 10W each.

Magic Remote
The Noble Skiodo remote is quite unique, there is ordinary remote on the front and on the back there is a keyboard for faster and comfortable alphanumeric inputs.
Insert the battery into the remote to activate it, when you open up the battery compartment you will find a USB receiver, attach that into the USB 2.0 port to activate the keyboard.
You can also use on screen keyboard – use the remote to navigate then press OK button or enable motion sensor (hit the motion sensor button on the remote). Once enabled just move the remote in the air to control the cursor on the TV screen (check video review).
Performance
When you power on the TV you will get the home screen with browser, media and application options. As already mentioned this Skiodo 48 inch TV is running Android Kitkat, you do get access to google play, there are some preinstalled apps and you can download more if needed.
I did not find any issues playing Youtube videos on the TV (using pre-loaded youtube app). I was also able to play almost all media files store on the USB pendrive connected to USB port. I tried Angry Birds 2 game, it did not work.
This smart TV also supports Miracast, NetFlix and eco friendly mode.
Software issues
The default OS is very slow it takes a lot of time opening up the apps. Also takes a lot of time jumping back to home screen, when you hit the home button on the remote. At times the back button does not work.
There are issues with the software, fixable. Speaker sound is loud and clear. There is built in WiFi, Bluetooth is missing. You can use wireless or wired connection (using RJ45 port).
Verdict
The only issue on the Noble Skiodo 48 inch FHD smart TV is the software, but still considering the price of Rs. 30,990 this is a very good buy. I am not sure if the company will provide software updates or optimize the OS. To compensate the software issue, you can try using a HDMI dongle (Chrome or Teewe).
