The Moto G 2nd gen model has been launched in India for a price tag of Rs. 12,999. The handset will go on sales exclusively on Flipkart (launching tonight). The Moto G comes with 16GB storage and 8MP rear AF camera.

The New Moto G is called the ‘Moto G’ same name as its predecessor but it comes with slightly better specs. It houses the qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM 8226 quad core processor clocked at 1.2GHz with Adreno 305 GPU. This dual SIM handset runs on Android KitKat (Android 4.4.4) out of the box with 1GB RAM and 8GB/16GB storage, and there is micro SD card slot.

New Moto G weight is less than 149 grams and is 10.99 mm thick. The screen is 5 inches supporting 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. There are no dedicated buttons and on screen buttons will take up some space. There are dual speaker on the front with stereo output.

The New G also comes with 8MP rear AF camera with flash and 2MP front facing camera. There are dual Mics for noise cancellation. Key features are 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth 4.0. This handset comes with a 2070 mAh battery.
