There are rumors about the Motorola XT560 floating on the net. The XT560 will be an android powered handset which Motorola is planning to launch for the budget conscious users. The specifications are out but these just speculations.

This Motorola handset will come loaded with Android gingerbread OS with an 800 MHz processor (Qualcomm). Now there are many handset featuring the 800 MHz processor and are reasonably priced. XT560 will have to compete with other models in term of features and more importantly the price.

Other features that you could find on this Motorola smartphone are HVGA resolution touchscreen display, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, micro SD card slot and dual cameras. There will be a 3 MP rear facing and a front VGA camera.

Well this is all we know for now. This low cost android smartphone may or may not come with built in GPS. We will have to wait and watch.  The android 2.3 OS is old but looking at the specifications should work well on this hardware.  No details as to when the XT560 will be available in India or the price tag.

If Motorola wants to create a place in the low cost android segment they will have to bring down the cost at under Rs. 10,000 which is quite possible.
