Motorola’s latest the Razr Maxx will be released on 24th June in India. You can pre-order it from infibeam. This is a single SIM GSM phone running android 2.3 upgradable to 4.0 on a powerful dual core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz.
The Razr Maxx is slim with 9 mm thickness and a weight of about 145 grams. The internal storage memory is 16 GB with 1 GB RAM. Up to 32 GB microSD card is supported. The handset supports 3G (HSDPA / HSUPA), GPRS and EDGE networks.
There is built in Wi-Fi with hotspot, GPS with A-GPS (GLONASS), Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP and micro USB port. The touchscreen is 4.3 inches with 540 by 960 pixels resolution with 16 million colours. The resolution is perfect for watching movies and for browsing websites.
The Maxx comes loaded with Android gingerbread 2.3.6 OS and Motorola will also officially support the ICS upgrade. There are 3 sensors namely compass, proximity and Accelerometer. HTML, JAVA and Flash is supported.
The center of attraction is the rear camera with an 8 megapixel resolution with features such as image stabilizer, touch to focus, face detection, HD recording @ 1080p and geo tagging. Video chat is possible using the front camera (1.3 megapixel resolution).
The extended battery life is something that seems unbelievable. The Motorola handset comes with surprisingly higher battery capacity of 3300 mAh that gives a standby time of up to 25 days and talktime of about 17 hours.
