Motorola (Owned by Lenovo) announced a modular flagship phone, the Moto Z and the Moto Z Force at Tech World 2016. These smartphones come with Moto Mods modular accessories that can be easily attached.

Moto Z features and specifications

This handset comes with single SIM slot running marshmallow over a 5.5 inch gorilla glass protected screen supporting 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution, it’s a AMOLED screen. Inside there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 64 bit quad core processor with Adreno 530 GPU.

Moto Z is packed with 4GB RAM (LPDDR4) and optional 32GB / 64GB of internal storage. Micro SD card of up to 2TB is supported. Weight is 136 grams with 2600 mAh battery (Turbo charging supported). This handset is also the worlds slimmest premium smartphone with a 5.19 mm thickness.

Moto Z announced

A 13MP camera with OIS and Laser AF is packed on the back (f/1.8 aperture) and on the front there is a 5MP wide angle camera. Key features are 4G LTE, 3G, GPS, Dual band WiFi, NFC, front loud speaker, 4x microphones, USB C port (for headphones too), Moto Mods connector and finger print sensor.

Motorola Moto Z price has not yet been revealed.

Moto Z Force features and specifications

This handset is also powered by snapdragon 820 sporting a 5.5 inch AMOLED, gorilla glass – this one is shatter shield protected screen with Quad HD resolution. Marshmallow runs the show with 4Gb RAM + 2TB expandable memory + optional 32GB / 64GB ROM.

Moto Z Force announced

There is a 21MP camera on the back and 5MP camera on the front. Key features are also the same. The Moto Z Force gets power from a 3500 mAh battery that also comes with turbo charging support. Handset weight is 163 grams and thickness is 6.99mm.

The Moto Z Force price has also not yet been disclosed.
